Inflation in Türkiye falls for the 15th consecutive month, while the lira remains under pressure

Turkey's annual consumer price index (CPI) fell for the 15th consecutive month in August, falling to 32.95% ahead of the Central Bank of Turkey's monetary policy meeting later this month, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced on Wednesday.

Monthly inflation stood at 2.04%, driven primarily by higher housing and transportation costs, according to official data
