Dollar rises slightly ahead of Washington summit

The US dollar rose slightly on Monday at the start of a week dominated by moves to end the war in Ukraine, as well as the closely watched Jackson Hole symposium at the Federal Reserve.

The dollar index, which tracks the greenback's performance against a basket of six other currencies, rose 0.2% to 97.890, after falling 0.4% last week
