The euro fell to a two-week low against the US dollar

The euro fell on Wednesday against a basket of global currencies, trading near a two-week low against the US dollar. This was due to renewed buying of the US currency as the best available investment, amid easing concerns about the stability of the Federal Reserve.

The euro fell 0.25% against the dollar to $1.1612, from the opening price of $1.1642, and reached a high of $1.1647
