The Australian dollar soars toward its biggest weekly gain since April 2025.

The Australian dollar rose in Asian trading on Friday against a basket of global currencies, extending its gains for the third consecutive day against its US counterpart, hitting a ten-month high. It is on track to post its biggest weekly gain since last April.

The Australian dollar rose 0.15% against its US counterpart to 0.6669, its highest level since November 2024, from the opening price of 0.6659. It hit a low of 0.6656
