The euro is near a one-week low ahead of key European sector data

The euro fell against a basket of global currencies on Thursday, resuming losses that had paused yesterday against the US dollar, and is on the verge of touching its lowest level in a week. This comes as buying of the US currency has resumed, as the best available investment.

The euro fell 0.1% against the dollar to $1.1641, from the opening price of $1.1651 today, and reached a high of $1.1655
