The yen continues to recover amid comments from Japanese authorities

The Japanese yen rose in Asian markets on Thursday, continuing its gains for the second consecutive day against the US dollar, moving away from a two-week low. Buying from low levels continued amid comments from Japanese government officials regarding the yen's price in the foreign exchange market.
Today's Japanese yen exchange rate: The dollar fell 0.4% against the yen to ¥145.75, from the opening price of ¥146.30, and reached a high of ¥146.32
